These programs are driven by community members willing to step up and keep our mission to reduce the dependency of pay-to-play programs in our areas. There are many ways that you can be a part of this change.
Donations:
We believe in a 100% transparency policy. This means that instead of taking cash donations, we promote the donation of essential items to keep these programs alive.
Volunteer:
Our programs are run by volunteers! Not only are you helping promote healthy lifestyles and keeping our programs free, but for high school volunteers, all hours can be used towards graduation cords and NHS points. Please note that all volunteers are encouraged to attend the volunteer orientation at the beginning of summer!
Spread the Word:
We are trying to promote our programs to increase our prevalence in our community. Don't only tell your friends about PGM, bring them to our events!
Age Requirement
We ask that all volunteers be at least entering their freshman year of high school. Exceptions can be made, please contact us with your request.
Safety
We ask that all volunteers complete our safety training with a score of 100%. We value all volunteers knowing
what to do in emergencies.
We ask that all interested volunteers email projectgetmoving@gmail.com to volunteer for us! Make sure to include your name
and availability!
